When her first grandchild, Legacy, was born, something shifted in Coach Danielle—a calling deeper than words. Legacy’s name became more than family—it became a mission. As Founder and President of Legacy Sports Foundation, Coach Danielle turned a personal promise into a powerful movement: to create access, opportunity, and belonging for youth who are too often overlooked.

 

A lifelong believer in the power of sports to shape identity, build character, and open doors, she founded the Foundation to honor not just one child, but every child with a dream. Under her leadership, Legacy Sports Foundation has become a safe haven—where mentorship meets movement, and confidence is built from the inside out. She leads with vision, with love, and with a deep commitment to making sure every young person is seen, supported, and celebrated.

 

Because to her, this isn’t just a foundation. It’s a legacy—in name, and in purpose.

Legacy Sports Foundation is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through athletic opportunity, mentorship, and college and career readiness. Founded in 2025 by Danielle Washington-Weber, a longtime coach and educator, the foundation grew out of the ATWF Juniors Volleyball Club and now seeks to remove financial barriers for youth athletes in Central Texas. Our core belief: “Talent and leadership should never be limited by income.”
